Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were cast into the fiery furnace of fire by not bowing to the worldly customs of Babylon. The behavior faithful to the law of God, put them against the decree of Nebuchadnezzar who was forced to punish them. Even subject to death, they did not go back, they kept their covenant with the Lord and were not left alone. To the surprise of all, as they looked into the furnace, the young men walked quietly under the fire, without damaging a part of their body.
"(...) I see four loose men walking in the fire without any damage; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods, "Daniel 3:25.
This fourth person whom the king saw was the demonstration of the care and love that God had for each of those young men. Just as they were faithful, the Lord also watched over their covenant and sent a divine being to represent and deliver them. Nebuchadnezzar did not share the same faith as Daniel and his friends, but that miracle forced him to acknowledge that no one was as powerful as our God. "Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who sent his angel, and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, because they would not keep the king's word, serve and worship any other god, but his God. " Daniel 3:28. Keep Your Covenant! Those who have a covenant with the Lord will walk with him into the fire. And with God with you at all times there will be no bad surprises, because what you do will be under your guarantor. The Bible says there was no harm to men. That is, there was no loss, injury or disorder. This only happens to those who preserve their alliance. Even the mishaps of life with God are converted into blessings, we must regard them as experiences to prove the glory of God and those who observe us also to know. Never abandon your alliance and you will be more than blessed. Have a special day in the presence of the Lord!
