"See, I propose, today, life and good, death and evil; if you keep the commandment that I command you this day, that you love the Lord your God, walk in his ways, and keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, then you shall live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land to which you go to possess it. But if your heart turn aside, and you will not listen, and be seduced, and worship other gods, and serve them, then today I declare to you that you will surely perish; thou shalt not remain a long time in the land whither thou goest over the Jordan to possess it. The heavens and the earth I take today as witnesses against you, who have proposed to you life and death, blessing and cursing; choose life, that you may live, you and your offspring, "Deuteronomy 30: 15-19.

Understand that God proposes life and good, or death and the curse, the choice is in our hands. Even if He has control of everything in our lives, that choice is up to us.

Know that the Lord sees your heart, so He can see what you really are, there is no use in lying or deceiving God, because He sees your thought, He sees your inner self. The Bible says He probes and knows our hearts. He is watching your effort to be able to bless you. Do you want to live the best year of your life? Choose life well and keep and practice the commandments of the Lord, because in this way He will bless your life and all your descendants. The word "land" is not specifically land, but rather what you own, your trade, your house, your car, finally, where you take your livelihood is your land, from the moment you you choose life and good the Lord will bless everything.
