Only do what the Lord asks you to do.

His role is to proclaim the Kingdom of God, just as John did

"After this, Jesus and his disciples went to the land of Judea; there he stayed with them and baptized. And John was also baptizing in Enon, near Salim, because there were many waters there, and there the people went and were baptized. For John had not yet been incarcerated. Now between the disciples of John and a Jew there arose a strife concerning purification. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Master, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, of whom thou hast borne witness, is baptizing, and all meet him. John answered, "A man can not receive anything if it is not given to him from heaven," John 3: 22-27.

John was a man used by God and was arrested for speaking the truth, preaching about the kingdom of the Lord Jesus.

His role is to announce the Kingdom of God, just as John did. He does not care what they are going to say to him, for his salvation is more important than the conversations of others. There is no one greater than the Lord. You can have whatever, more than one degree, have a good financial life. But you will never be greater than God. For He who is the author of all that we live today. Unfortunately many people have messed up what the Lord prepares for you, because they want to be more than Him. God gives you everything you ask for and what is His will, but He will never give you the glory of Him. For it is sacred. But if you notice, there are preachers who have everything to have a wonderful work, reach out to crowds. Within certain pastors, sometimes they want to be greater than Jesus, and that does not please Him. Just do what the Lord asks of you, for the rest He will give an account. For it is only the Father who knows his interior, knows everything that happens to you. Let the Lord use you, but never want to be more than Him. Assign to the Father all the good that happens in your life, that you will be blessed. May the Father bless you!
