"In the days of Herod, the king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, of the Shias of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron and his name was Isabella. Both were righteous before God, living blamelessly in all the precepts and commandments of the Lord. And they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were lifted up in days, "Luke 1: 5-7.

Zechariah and Elizabeth were faithful to God, who followed the Lord, always walked in the presence of God. But even though they were people who believed in the power of the Lord, they felt a shame, a sadness. Because Isabel could not have children and at that time the happiness of the couples was to have children.

Because they were faithful to the Lord, people provoked them and questioned why Elizabeth still did not have a child, because God was not powerful to perform a miracle in her life? Many people today do this, you may be experiencing a difficulty and have not yet had an answer from the Lord, and it happens that people start to question you because you are sick? Why are you unemployed? And so the suspicions of the God that you serve arise. The enemy will always use people to discourage him, to leave him in doubt of the power of God. "And it came to pass, when he ministered before the priest in the order of his office, that it was his lot, according to the custom of the priest's office, to enter the sanctuary of the Lord to burn incense" (Luke 1: 8-9). The priest entered the sanctuary to intercede for the people, and Zechariah entered the sanctuary, asking the Lord that Elizabeth might become pregnant. Entering the sanctuary is consecrating, fasting, praying, crying out for something that you desire the Lord to fulfill. When you are willing to pray, if you prostrate yourself to the Lord, it is as if you are entering the sanctuary. "And during that time all the multitude of the people stood outside praying. And behold, there appeared unto him an angel of the LORD standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw it, he was troubled, and fear came upon him. But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard. and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. In thee shall be joy and gladness, and many shall rejoice at his birth. "Luke 1: 10-14. Zechariah stood firm in his prayers, did not let people discourage him from praying, crying out for his miracle. So even if you do not see the Lord, He puts an angel on your life to bring your cry to the Father and from there you will be heard. But it was not easy for Zacharias and Elizabeth, for they went through all the discomforts, discouragement, people saddening them more and more. Suddenly you are a person who is living by living, not seeing joy in anything else. Because you can not realize your dreams, your projects. God has the power to make miracles happen, you just want to pay the price Zacarias paid. Enter the sanctuary and ask God for His miracle and He will respond in the best way. For when God makes a promise, He does, regardless of whether it is impossible for human eyes. Trust in the Lord. God bless your day!
