Hope comes from the Lord

Put your hope in the Lord who is invincible in battles, in the living God, all powerful

The prophet Jeremiah had a great affliction; "I am the man that saw the affliction by the rod of the wrath of God," Lamentations 3: 1. Affliction is acute despair, suffering.

"I was made an object of derision to all my people and to their song all the day long", Lamentations 3:14. Scorn means mocking, humiliating, stepping, mocking. His mocking was his own people. And that made him even sadder.

"He filled me with bitterness, he filled me with wormwood. He made me break my teeth with sand, covered me with ashes. He has removed the peace of my soul; I forgot about the good. And I said, My glory is lost, and my hope is in the LORD. Remember my affliction and my weeping, the wormwood and the poison. My soul continually remembers them and falls within me. I want to bring to mind what can give me hope, "Lamentations 3: 15-21. The prophet's prayer was for something to come that he could cling to. Maybe you are going through some phase of your life, you are slipping through the abyss and you have nowhere to go, you have nowhere to go. And do not think that you are alone, without hope to solve your problems. Even afflicted, even if he is bitter, sad, desperate. For God is your hope. Do not try to find hope in banal things, your hope is in God, only in Him who will find your refuge, your strength, your sustenance. Put your hope in the Lord who is invincible in battles, in the living God, all powerful. I believe that many people question you, where is your God? Where is your cure? But do not let your hope die because of these comments, for our Lord Jesus Christ has great things for your life. Just believe and keep your hope alive. "The mercies of the LORD are the cause of not being consumed, because his mercies have no end; They are renewed every morning. Great is your faithfulness. ", Lamentations 3: 22-23. God wants to get you out of the anguish, the grief, the sadness. He wants to give you happiness, so believe that He has the best for you. May you have a blessed day!
