God is your comfort

Who gives you what you need is only God

“Comfort, comfort my people, says your God,” Isaiah 40: 1. These people were very rebellious, very afflicted, removed from God.

God's concern for us is extraordinary. He has a huge affection for each one. When God says "Comfort", it is a concern, it is a care He has with you. He wants to give you security, comfort, hope.

God comforts people in this way, taking their worry away, giving them comfort, taking away their anguish. Because the world pressures you to always have bad news, focusing only on adversity and God has been relieving you. “Speak to the heart of Jerusalem, shout to him that the time of his militia is past, that his iniquity is forgiven, and that he has received twice the hands of the LORD for all his sins,” Isaiah 40: 2. God was announcing to that people the end of slavery, the end of loss. And he does just that to you, wants to get you out of slavery, this sadness. “Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the LORD; straighten in the wilderness to our God. Every valley shall be grounded, and leveled, every mountain and hill; what is crooked will be rectified, and the lurid places will be flattened. The glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it, ”Isaiah 40: 3-5. The most capable, the most empowered in the world cannot answer their cry. They are limited people, even though he is a big man in the country, he does not have the autonomy to answer his cry. Who gives you what you need is only God. What makes the difference in your life is the Word of God in your heart. There is no man who is above you, only in God you will find the best comfort, the best peace, in no one else will you get a better shelter than the Lord Jesus Christ. May God greatly bless your day!
