Love the Lord above all things

It is so much better to love God than to know about God, much more builds up you to love God, to put Him first in your life and above all

“As regards things sacrificed to idols, we recognize that we are all masters of knowledge. Knowledge makes great, but love builds up, ”1 Corinthians 8: 1. We all think we know a lot, enough, and knowing makes the person more arrogant and thinks they don't need anyone else.

“If anyone thinks he knows something, he has not yet learned how to know. But if anyone loves God, he is known to him, ”1 Corinthians 8: 2-3.

It is much better to love God than to know about God, much more edifying you to love God, to put Him first in your life and above all. From what you think you know all about Him. He who loves God is known to Him, that is, He is always taking care of you, taking care of your struggles, adversity and everything you want will conquer. Just as Job was faithful to the Lord, He loved, so God provided everything He needed. “And the LORD said unto Satan, Have thou observed my servant Job? For there is none like him in the earth, a righteous and upright man, fearing of God, and turning from evil. ”Job 1: 8 God knew Job and others who gave good testimonies, who loved the Lord Jesus above all things. The Lord has a special care for those who return love to him. “Concerning the food sacrificed to idols, we know that the idol of itself is nothing in the world and that there is but one God. For though there are also some that call themselves gods, whether in heaven or on earth, as there are many gods and many lords, yet to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and to whom we are. ; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we through him, ”I Corinthians 8: 4-6. Everything exists because of God, His power. Everything belongs only to the Lord. Faithfully love God. The Word and the world is from the Lord Jesus. As you begin to understand what He means, things begin to change in your life. God gives everything you need, everything you crave, He always seeks to give the best. So don't think you know more than God. Take that thought from you and start loving Him above all else, give your whole life to Him, dedicate yourself totally to Him, so great things He will do in your life. May God bless your day!
