Safety comes from God

Only who can give us a safe leftover is the highest

“He that dwelleth in the hiding place of the Most High, and resteth in the shadow of the Almighty, saith unto the LORD, My refuge and my stronghold, my God, whom I trust,” Psalm 91: 1-2.

Hideout from the highest means a very safe place. That any enemy, any adversary, any opponent comes in with God's permission.

God's hiding place, no one can enter without His permission. And He gives us the right to come in there, through faith, prayer, fellowship with Him. When you make a commitment to God, He then hides it, keeps you in His hiding place. Did you realize that almost everything in this world tires us? Who has realized that even the friendships we create, comes a time that begins to tire? There are a lot of friendships that get tired, the trust of people in people, all these tires. Hence the recommendation: "rest in the shadow of the Almighty." The word Omnipotent means that he who can do all things, has only one who can do everything, his name is God. The word suggests, that you and I have to be close to God, under your cover, the closer you are to God, the more in God's cool, protective shadow you will be, the quieter your life will be, because no friendship, no human being on earth can guarantee such things. Only the one who can give us a safe leftover is the highest. Psalm 91 is a recipe for a safe, peaceful life. Seek God's shadow through prayer, the communion of recognition of greatness, and our dependence upon Him. In this psalm God says how important you are to Him. You may not be so important to your “friends” or even your relatives, but to God you are important. You and I have nothing to offer God that He doesn't have. Everything is His. Do you think there is an adversary to God? Crazy is he who challenges the power of God. In God's shelter the danger cannot come. Making God your home suggests that you have freedom with God, have quality of life, have more time with Him. Never stop in the middle of a storm, a storm never goes end to end on your way, it's only in one stretch, and if you stop in the middle of it, you stay in the middle of it, if you go straight out where the sun is shining . This suggests not giving up faith, hope, goals, projects. This suggests not shaking and thinking that the storm is the end, it is not. Have a blessed day!
