Supplications of an Elder

This prayer was based on the story of David.

“In you, O LORD, I take refuge; don't be me ever embarrassed. Deliver me for your righteousness and rescue me; incline my ears and save me. May you be to me a habitable rock in which you always welcome me; You have commanded me to be saved, for you are my rock and my fortress. ”Psalm 71: 1-3.

This prayer was based on the story of David. He had obstacles, barriers, difficult passages and at the same time he prayed and pleaded with God, remembering that in his path God never abandoned him and never forsook him.

“Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grip of the unrighteous and cruel man. For you are my hope, LORD God, my confidence from my youth, ”Psalm 71: 4-5. Hope is for everyone, regardless of age, perspective, but ask the Lord Jesus for hope. David never ceased to trust God, never abandoned his ways for trite things or the opportunities the world offers, so God gave him an extraordinary old age. “I have supported you from my birth; Thou hast brought me out of my womb, Thou art a source of praise unto me, ”Psalm 71: 6. Satan sometimes puts in your head that you are fighting alone, but I want to tell you that God is supporting you and is always with you on good and bad days. God never abandons him, just as he has been present in David's life since his youth, so he is present in his life at all times. Don't feel alone, He is taking care of everything.
