“Fearing Elijah, he arose, and went to save his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah; and there he left his boy. But he himself went into the wilderness one day's way, and came and sat under a juniper; And he asked for death, and said, It is enough; Take now my soul, O LORD, for I am no better than my fathers. He lay down and slept under the juniper; behold, an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. He looked at him and saw, at the head of the table, a loaf baked on red stones and a jar of water. He ate, drank, and slept. ”1Kings 19: 3

In biblical teaching man can have, or whatever it is, he could not be strong, overcome difficulties, if the word of God is not part of him, if Jesus Christ is not present in his life.

Elijah was not like us, he was much closer to God, he was close to God. He was greater than us in anointing, in communion, in faith, in hope, we are very far from being as Elijah was before God. But even though Elijah had come to a difficult time, he asked that he die. Many times the sadness, the anguish, the loneliness, the fear, various harmful and negative feelings, squeeze the heart, the soul, and they took over the life of the greatest prophet of that time, making him feel abandoned, alone. Even though Elijah has overcome, bigger barriers and obstacles. As much as our souls despair, my adversaries multiply, God's eyes are upon our lives, and our food, which gives us strength, and keeps us on our feet and makes us walk, is God, he cares for us. we.
