Yearn and wait on the Lord

Wherever you are, in whatever situation, God is with you

Many are the souls who yearn for so many unclean things, but David, in Psalm 42: 1 makes it clear that his soul yearned for God. If you yearn for other things, there is still time to run and yearn for God. The corsa, a species of deer, of wild goat, the corsa lives in the mountains, where water is rarely found, an environment in which a common deer would die for a week. She resists days without drinking.

Even we are not aware of the corsa to save energy and control its breathing and resistance like many animals. The Corsican resists weeks without water until she feels thirsty, to go down and throw herself into the water, which is all she wants and needs. Because you have food, you want water. An aloof animal that, by the water, approaches you.

Normally, you and I long for what is missing in our lives, and this man was too longing for God. The vast majority of people ignore and do not know that the incessant search for quality of life, pleasure and victories is nothing more than the lack of God in their lives, an involvement, an alliance, a dependency in their lives. Regardless of what they blame as a reason for the soul's apparent desire, nothing satisfies, because full satisfaction is in Jesus Christ, it comes when we realize that we are totally dependent on God. Without God, no church grows, no person grows, no one succeeds. In Laodicea, Jesus knocked on the door because He was taken out of the church by that very people. What we need, only God can give us, everything else is palliative and fleeting. The psalmist was very distressed, a situation common to all of us, men and women. The psalmist was bigger spiritually than we are, but look at the situation he was in, the need and lack of God he felt. Before, he felt the face of God before him. He went into depression, he didn't eat anymore. Depression begins with anxiety and intensifies, nothing gives pleasure. Day and night, that man wept. He carried the mark of God with him and, at the first sign of defeat in his life, they will ask you where your God is. Family members, close people, will question you and what will you say? That God is guilty, that He is sick of you? That someone or something took you away from Him? None of this would be true. Therefore, there is a need for a covenant, an unconditional commitment to God. And there is no place for you to find God. Jacob was in the desert, without food or water and found God. You, who read this message and are in the desert, know how to recognize that God is with you. If anguish ever hits your chest, say that you are the house of God, because wherever you are He will be. When those who suffer and weep stand before God, they will see changes. Your help will not come from a strong sponsor, from a friend who helps. Godfather is the one who baptizes, so ask the Lord to be your godfather and baptize you. The psalmist seems deviated. He remembers when he was a fervent Christian, celebrating in shouts of joy and praise, with crowds celebrating, then he comes to his senses. The devil must have blown something evil in the ear of this guy, who soon knew how to say to himself that it was necessary to continue to trust and wait on God. The psalmist, of course, was blessed, and if you hope in God, so will you.
